India was by no means a planned addition to our kennels, having recently purchased the brother / sister duo that are Maisey and Vinnie, the last thing I should have been looking for was another puppy so soon. However when my friend told me that she had a pregnancy confirmed from two dogs I adore, my heart ruled my head and I decided I had to have one! And I don't regret it one bit!

India comes from 'Phoenix', a beautiful Brindle and White Bitch who instantly puts me in mind of my beautiful girl 'Tory' who we sadly lost earlier in the year. And it really is little wonder, as Phoenix's Sire is Tory's full litter brother 'Billy' who I used at stud myself back in 2007.

India's Daddy 'Deckland' is actually the dog I had in mind for breeding with my girl Tory, so if I were choosing a sire for Phoenix myself, I'd have chosen this outstanding typy Red and White boy! Deckland has the most stunning head, with small thick ears, his rear and angles are to die for and his personality immediately draws you to him!

Its hard to explain, but it just felt so right that India came to stay with us here at Whitewreath, like the pieces of a Jigsaw finally coming together. She is by no means a replacement of my Tory, but in so many ways, it is as if she were destined to be with me. She is an adorable little girl, and we can only thank her breeder, my friend, Suzanne, for allowing me to have just a little tiny piece of Tory back here with me.
